Hi Everyone!
I decided to finally make my first entry on my blog. I decided to make a
shabby chic-ish collage. This style of is sort of new to me, so for now I am
experimenting. For the canvas I decided to use something inexpensive and used
the cardboard backing of a used up writing pad. I used CK and Company brand
scrapbooking designer paper. The flowers and bling are from the Collections
brand. I used Tim Holtz Distressed Ink-Vintage Photo for the edges to
give it an aged look. The butterflies were fuzzy cut from the scrapbooking
paper. The honeycomb shape background is done with a stencil and homemade
texture paint. I just simply love texture. Not sure if you could tell the
theme. The butterflies are coming out of the clock and moving upward. Sort of
like saying that it's time that transformation from of the butterflies is not
complete and now they fly free. For me to live free is to Live, Laugh, Love
without holding back.
