Birds and Key Assemblage

Hello Makers!

So, not long ago I had made a greeting card using a combination of stamps and stencils of birds and key; with the sentiment, "Let Your Dreams Fly", from an awesome stamp set from Joy Clair. I also used used Imagine Walnut and pigments ink on teabags, take a look at my post. I was inspired by my card that I decided to make an actual 3D art piece out of it in the form of an assemblage. Also, I was smitten the Imagine's bluish Cornflower Walnut Ink that I stayed with the same color theme. For this piece I used Blue Iris Gilder's paste on the birds and Prussian Blue acrylic paint on the shadowbox. I sculpted the birds out of polymer clay, the key, filigree and mini door knob are made out of metal, all sitting on a little decorative wooden base.  Take a look at the imagine below with the original card and assemblage piece. Well I hope you like my key and birds and find your inspiration today.

Here you see my original greeting card and assemblage piece next to each other.
